Through 19 contributions by an electrifying contingent of writers and artists, this edition explores how tensions trigger emotions and compel actions as they drive humans towards unknowable outcomes – including the tragic, comic and horrific; the ominous and the explosive.

 

With cover art by Laura McCluskey – Somesuch Stories 8 features further photographic series and artworks by: Caleb Femi, Elsa Rouy, Birk Thomassen, Roxy Rezvany, Nanténé Traoré, Elio Mercer, and Thuy Vy.
