Mudec United, while providing extensive information on the exhibition it aligns with, is neither a catalog nor a pure magazine, but a third object, which arises from the generative process of ideas (visual in particular) that come out of the Museum and open it to the world.

Mudec United is agile, without losing scientific depth. It starts from respect for cultural traditions, from the awareness of a necessary and continuous work of removing colonial prisons (including linguistic ones) and from the fight against their appropriation. It takes a step forward, towards languages ​​in formation, especially those that arise from the new, second and third generations that inhabit the globe, starting from the city from which it originates.

The first issue, inspired by the Rainbow exhibition. Mudec United is the new publication of the Museum of Cultures of Milan, in English, which from 31 May 2023 will be available at MUDEC and internationally in the most important outlets of style magazines and museums.
