Magma magazine - issue 1 - Reading Room

Magma / 1

€ 60,00Prezzo

The inaugural edition of Magma presents 18 artists and over 80 artworks and literary texts, most of them previously unpublished. The edition includes 2 artwork inserts. Supported by Bottega Veneta, printed in a large format and bound like a book, intended for annual publication, Magma is intended to be a rare object in a society of ever-tightening rhythms and to offer an opportunity to look, read and collect.

In dialogue with Lucas Arruda, Alaa Al Aswany, Charles Baudelaire, Boris Bergmann, Tim Breuer, Sophie Calle, René Char, Erri De Luca, Luigi Ghirri, Édouard Glissant, J.W. von Goethe, François Halard, Nathanaëlle Herbelin, India Mahdavi, Claude Nori, Frida Orupabo, Andra Ursuța, Agnès Varda, Magma connects worlds with other worlds.

Magma revives the tradition of the great revues d'art of the 20th century. Conceived as a forum for artistic expression, artists and writers collaborate and co-create.

Magma is an invitation to participate in a dialogue that transcends the usual boundaries of the art world. It is a meeting place. Each artist's contribution is an original or unpublished work, created for publication or published for the first time.
