For this issue of Endless, we focus on obsession. Obsession is rarely simple. It can be disturbing, even all-encompassing, but it's also what drives us to return to what we can't get rid of. Sometimes it is a single object or idea. Other times it is more difficult to define. It could be the search for a sound, or the way light passes through a lens you trust more than any other. P.3The slow discipline of repeating something until it takes on a life of its own. The obsession lies in the detail that suddenly prevails over the whole, and in the overall vision that refuses to abandon us. At Endless, we experience obsession as both fuel and friction. It's what makes us linger and draw the same line until it changes. It models not only what we create, but also who we become in the creation process. The obsession is Endless.
