The relationship between authors lives and their work is the central subject in the new edition of Electra magazine. In the dossier entitled 'The Life or the Work?' articles by Giséle Sapiro, Sinziana Ravini, Raúl Rodríguez-Ferrándiz, Christian Delporte, Éric Marty, Maria Antónia Oliveira and António Guerreiro are published. Wolfgang Tillmans signs this edition's 'Portfolio' and 'In the First Person' section we publish interviews with the architect Eduardo Souto de Moura and the american art critic and historian Hal Foster. Also, the Irish writer, literary critic and journalist, Colm Tóibín revisits, in the 'Register' section, the vast work of Henry James and the Iranian architect Sepideh Karemi tells us about the city she chose to live in, Edinburgh, in the 'View of Delft'.
