ISSUE 21

Buffalo Zine Issue 21 marks a radical departure: an issue produced without models, stylists, makeup artists, or hairdressers. The people portrayed are genuine members of the fashion world—they work in it, live it, and interpret it every day. No constructed characters, no artifice: just authentic individuals, wearing clothes from both the participating brands and their own personal wardrobes, combined in their natural style. There were no scripts or moodboards. At the center is fashion as it is in real life: in gestures, in glances, in attitude. This issue is also a moment of reflection on the magazine's 15-year history: amid financial difficulties, diminishing brand support, and an uncertain future. Buffalo thus opens a new phase, in which fashion is told from the inside, with sincerity and vulnerability. A shift from aspiration to presence; from image to relationship. A space where what is authentic, finally, is enough. Buffalo Zine Issue 21 is an essential issue for anyone who loves independent fashion, cultural exploration, and honest, unfiltered reporting on the contemporary industry.

Buffalo zine is a powerful fashion and creativity magazine that changes its style, editorial line and roots in eclecticism with each issue. The idea of the magazine was born many years ago in Madrid by a team of two creative and graphic designer friends, David Uzquiza and Adrian González-Cohen, who, having worked in the fashion and advertising world for some time, decided to put their personal projects on paper. The result is a free magazine, which certainly starts from the world of fashion but completely eradicates any concept of a fashion magazine.
