British Journal of Photography / 7907
This month’s British Journal of Photography is an issue of two halves. The first half is informed by our main theme, Love, with a striking portrait shot by Marco Zanella gracing the cover. Flip the magazine over and you will find a second cover, shot by Ukrainian photographer Yelena Yemchuk. It includes a special section dedicated to stories about Ukrainian identity, culture, photography and the new reality of war.
Founded in 1854 to record the scientific development of a fledgling medium, these days BJP takes an international perspective on contemporary photography, focusing on fine art and documentary, and the cutting edge of editorial and commercial practices. Each monthly edition focuses on a theme, including regular subjects such as Portrait, Education, Journeys and Community, together with our annual review and our annual talent edition
